Each one is reversible with two different velvet prints on either side, with a removable zip cover and insert included. The patterns are drawn from Anna’s lifetime of collecting vintage textiles, and they mix well with the round velvet cushions and square velvet cushions if you want to build up a proper stack.
The removable insert is included with the cushion, so there’s nothing extra to buy. If you ever need to replace it, a standard 40 x 60 cm rectangular insert will fit.
Yes. The zip cover comes off and goes in the machine (we recommend a cold cycle to be safe). Velvet can flatten a little with regular use but responds well to a gentle brush or a short tumble in the dryer on low to bring it back.
These work well as the middle layer in a cushion stack: a large square at the back, a couple of these in front, and a small rectangle or round cushion in front of those. Because the cushions our range share the same design inspiration, mixing prints tends to look intentional rather than chaotic. The reversible design also means you can change the look without buying anything new.
